Foundation Football Development Coach

The Role

Wrexham AFC are recruiting highly skilled casual coaches with the potential to work across our Foundation’s expanding football development programmes. Our football development staff will have opportunities to work across our following projects in 2026/2027:
•    International Development Soccer Camps
•    UK Based Soccer Camps 
•    Touring Group Sessions 
•    Girls Football Programme

Whether you are representing the Club locally or globally, we expect our coaches to deliver the highest standards, whilst adhering to our coaching curriculum and promoting our values. 

Main Responsibilities:

•    Deliver Wrexham AFC Foundation curriculum. 
•    Demonstrate the values of Wrexham AFC locally and internationally.
•    Effectively communicate with players, parents and partners.
•    Learn the values and history of Wrexham AFC.
•    Learn and apply Wrexham AFC Foundation’s coaching methodology. 
•    Participate in virtual and/or in person coach onboarding training. 
•    Participate in ongoing CPD provided by the Foundation.

About you

You will:

•    Be organised and punctual.
•    Work well as part of a team.
•    Have knowledge of Wrexham AFC's history.
•    Have previous international football experience. (Desirable)

Experience and Qualifications required:

•    UEFA B Licence (or working towards)
•    FAW / FA Safeguarding Qualification.
•    FAW / FA First Aid Qualification.
•    Previous experience of coaching youth players of varying ages and abilities. 
•    Strong leadership and communication skills.
