These placements are designed for students who have recently completed a relevant degree or those undertaking a required “year in industry” as part of their course — ready to turn their knowledge into real impact while growing alongside us.

Sports Science (Strength & Conditioning) Internship
Contract: 10-11 months (Internship)
Department: Women’s Football
Location: The Rock / Stok Cae Ras
The Role
The Strength & Conditioning Intern will support the delivery of high-quality physical performance services across the Wrexham AFC Women’s football programme, contributing to both First Team and Academi environments.
Working within the club’s multidisciplinary performance team, the role will assist with the design, delivery, and monitoring of strength and conditioning programmes, helping to enhance player performance, support injury prevention, and contribute to long-term athlete development.
The intern will play a key role in supporting physical development across the player pathway including First Team, U15 and U13 squads, gaining valuable experience within a progressive and growing women’s football environment.
